Housing Support:
We provide financial assistance and resources to help our elderly clients secure safe and stable housing. By easing the burden of rent, we enable them to live with dignity and security.
Warm Blankets:

Personal Hygiene Kits:
Maintaining personal hygiene is crucial for health and self-esteem. We distribute comprehensive hygiene kits that include essential items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and more, ensuring our clients can care for themselves with dignity.
Kinship Backpack:
For elderly grandparents raising their grandchildren, we offer the Kinship Backpack program. These backpacks are filled with school supplies, clothing, and other necessities to support both the grandparents and the children in their care.

In San Diego County, over 25,000 grandparents are stepping up to care for their grandchildren due to unexpected circumstances. These devoted grandparents often find themselves in this role because of parental illness, military deployments, parental absence, or poverty. While they open their hearts and homes to provide love and stability, the financial and emotional strains can be overwhelming.
Our Mission
We believe in providing a "Hopeful Hand Up" to these grandparents and their grandchildren. One critical area of need is ensuring that these children have the necessary school supplies to succeed academically. By equipping them with backpacks filled with essential school supplies, we aim to decrease the academic disadvantage that can arise from their challenging circumstances.

We are seeking donations to build and donate 50+ backpacks for the upcoming school year. Each backpack will be filled with essential school supplies, giving these children a boost in self-confidence and providing their grandparents with a much-needed sense of relief.
